Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empty trash receptacles, and replace lining off trash cans. Growing and cultivating multiple plants in a variety of green spaces in a country office.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Cleaning building by emptying trash.
- Sweeping and cleaning surfaces.
- Clean and service restrooms.
- Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, plant flowers and apply pesticides.
- Move heavy equipment and furniture.
- Repair minor plumbing leaks.
Educational Background:
High School/GED Diploma or International Equivalent.
Skills/Experience:
- Able to identify problems that have established procedures and and very limited impact; refer non-standard questions and problems to higher level.
Supervision Given/Received:
- Receive close instruction and supervision from supervisors.
Experience:
- One year of previous experience in cleaning, including the use of chemicals and using cleaning machinery safely.
Typical Physical Demands:
- Able to lift heavy equipment and furniture.
