The YMCA of Boulder Valley is hiring a Campaign & Fundraising Director to work within our Development Department. This position will oversee four major annual events: our Community Support Campaign, fundraising luncheon, Hall of Fame/Appreciation event and our Y Splash Gala. Through a variety of campaigns and fundraising efforts, this position will be responsible for raising upward of $1 million each year to help us support, strengthen and serve our neighbors in need.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manages fundraising campaigns including but not limited to Community Support, .
  • Maintains donor and event databases. Ensures all donor names, pledges, donations and contact information are entered correctly and all correspondence with donors happens within 48 hours.
  • Stays within budget for all expenses related to the campaign.
  • Assists with securing donation items and sponsorships for events.
  • Manages pre and post event responsibilities. Include supervising staff and volunteers for event duties as assigned. 
  • Staff liaison to all development department committees
  • Other duties as assigned.  
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Five or more years of related experience working as a development department assistant or events manager.
  • Proficient in all standard business software.
  • Knowledgeable about office processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach.
  • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
  • Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00
