  • To facilitate effective communication, between Sponsors, Registered children and families.
  • To supervise the sponsorship programme in the projects for efficiency.
  • To manage partnership with the AP communities and other stakeholders in order to maintain sponsors satisfaction and retention.
Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Carry out all information technology based processes related to child Sponsorship in accordance with the partnership set Standards. This includes but not limited to Horizon SSUI and Sponsorship 2.0 items (Child Greeting Photo (CGP), Child greeting Videos (CGV), Child Update Photo (CUP), Community Introductory Videos (YIV), Community Update Photo (YUP), Community Update Video (CUV), Community Farewell Video (YFV) etc.
  • Maintain registered children / budget levels at the number agreed on with Support Office.
  • Ensure Digital Images of children are transferred at the same time that data is entered into Horizon SSUI.
  • Ensure data on children are updated / validated once a year as stipulated by Horizon SSUI.
  • Ensure children put on Partnership Holds are reactivated as per the Sponsorship standards.
  • Ensure death of children is reported to the NO within 1 business day and child’s records are dropped in Horizon SSUI within 5 business days of receiving the notification.
  • Coordinate the management of correspondences, ILs, GNs, sponsor/support office (SO) queries in the ADP.
  • Coordinate the management of all Special Mailings (APR & Christmas Card) in the AP.
  • Participate in AP budget preparation and ensure child monitoring is done as part of the program activities.
  • Build the capacity of Communities and community volunteers in sponsorship management and coordinate Sponsors visits in the AP.
  • Facilitate communication between RC and their sponsors and ensure that Service Operations Indicators (SOI) are met.
  • Ensure standards on Child Monitoring Assurance Indicator (CMS) are met and information correctly captured into Horizon SSUI through mobile devices.
  • Ensure data on children semi-annual visits are correctly collected, crosschecked before they are captured into Horizon SSUI.
  • Ensure photos for New Registered Children and Reactivation are appropriately cropped and sent to SO through Horizon SSUI and mobile devices.
  • Ensure Sponsorship 2.0 items are reviewed by NO before making them available to GC and SO.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Cluster Programs Manager.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor of Arts (BA)in studying or teaching English and / or German as foreign language (s).
Skills/Experience: 

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Good written and oral communication level in French and English.
  • Technical Training qualifications required:
  • Knowledge of child rights, policies and standards in Mali and in World Vision partnership.
  • Knowledge of child protection and sponsorship policies.
  • Computer skills (Word & Excel).
