The Program Associate provide programmatic and administrative support to the program and specialized units, in maintaining effective communications and information, within the unit and across teams.  Assists with reporting requirements and coordinates with LINKAGES Nepal team for smooth continuation of work plan activities.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assists the program and specialized units with the development of program reports, briefs, and other requirements
  • Assists with the development and revision of annual work plan and coordinates with team leaders and/or specialized units for review as well as finalization of the work plan 
  • Assists to coordinate requests, logistics and other programmatic assistance for consultants and technical assistance  
  • Assists the program management and specialized units in preparing materials for reporting and presentations  
  • Assists with formatting and editing of documents and ensuring quality and standardization of project requirements
  • Provides overall secretarial support to the Project Director and Deputy Project Director such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records and minutes of meetings, drafting letters and memos as required
  • Assists with the planning and coordination of FHI 360 sponsored special events, including workshops and seminars organized by FHI 360 in consultation and coordination with Administrative Officer
  • Responsible for processing the sub agreements/contracts preparations including amendments along with all the required documents and attachments to the Project Director and/or LINKAGES HQ for execution.  And, distribution of finalized sub agreements to the relevant people and agencies
  • Responsible for preparing monthly program updates as required by LINKAGES Nepal Project in supervision of Deputy Project Director 
  • Work as a team member with LINKAGES Nepal backstopping services to the overall FHI 360 program 
  • Provide support and assistance to the publications/dissemination’s tasks and work as a team member to produce the FHI 360 Newsletter 
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, public health and management or social sciences
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum three years of work experience in related field  Ability to provide programmatic support and assistance to program staff
  • Ability to provide management, secretarial and administrative support to the assigned unit and teams
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment
