The Human Resource Officer or specialist will assist the Human Resource team in order to ensure that a high Standard of HR policies and procedures are maintained and effectively implemented through FHI360/ CO Afghanistan. S/He will assist Sr. HR Officer in the process of recruitment, oversee and guide the HR assistant in maintaining and updating the filling system both hard and soft copies. S/he will also be working with staff on the annual performance review process.
- Support the development and implementation of HR activities and practices
- Assist the Sr. HR Officer in the process of recruitment: Long Listing, Shortlisting if required and attend interview panels.
- Supervise the hiring process with the selected candidates: offer the position, collect required documents and review the accuracy and issuance employment contract.
- Inform the hiring department of the joining date of new staff to consider the space, desk, computer and cell phone.
- Support the Sr. HR officer with the orientation presentation for new staff: policies and procedures
- Review staff personnel files with HR Assistant and make sure that documents are complained. Assist in the implementation of the performance management process. Develop in development of different HR administrative forms when required. Process any follow up termination and resignations and submit final report to finance. Developed and maintain the FHI360 / CO Afghanistan organizational structure in Visio and Excel Software.
- Good Communication Skills; Self-motivated; quick learner; time management; team player
- Knowledge of record administration and maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of Computer applications MS Office and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written and fluency in English/ and local languages (Dari & Pashtu).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines
