In close collaboration with the senior management and other department heads and program managers, the incumbent of the position will be responsible for ensuring effective and timely liaison, coordination and representation with the government of Afghanistan authorities, business, and aid agencies in Kabul Afghanistan.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Establish and maintain contacts and good working relationship with GoA ministries and Departments, especially, with the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Economics, Passport office, and Kabul Traffic department.
  • Ensure timely and legal issuance of all visas, work permits, and other documents required to facilitate FHI360’s work in Afghanistan and cross-border movement of people and commodities from neighboring countries.
  • Ensure timely update and renewal of FHI 360 and its’ projects registrations and licenses in Afghanistan Ensure timely processing and renewal of tax exemptions for an international staff
  • Coordinate activities with local Legal Advisor, when required
  • Obtain country clearance (visa) for international staff, short-term visitors, and international consultants in a timely manner.
  • Communicate to FHI360’s staff members (National, International, Visitors) about their passports, visas, and flight information.
  • Coordinate and track hotel reservations for LTTA, STTA, Consultants, and Visitors Ensure registration of vehicles and other equipment purchased locally, follow up and process of AVL, green book, license plates etc.
  • Registration and licensing for Radio Communication equipment
  • Coordinate with Logistic and Procurement officers about registration of vehicles and other equipment Flights booking for FHI 360 staff, partners, and visitors.
  • Responsible for tracking of all bookings and first screening of invoices
  • Monitor changes in government policies relating to duty free privileges, visas, cross-border permits, etc. to FHI360 and advise the Senior Management Team accordingly.
  • Arrange Background check for all venders (SAM, OFAC and UN check), when required Monitor and track office supplies and stationery
  • Assist in day to day activities of the administrative department
  • Keep maintain office supplies & stationery on regularly basis
  • Provide facilities and administration support to all types of events.
  • Record & maintain filling system both  hard and soft.
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned Perform any other duties related to administration department as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in the related field
