- Provide overall management and leadership to the JCHFH in accordance with directives, policies and objectives set by the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors
- Lead the organization in achieving goals by developing and implementing strategic and operational plans and integrating committees, staff and volunteers in work of construction, financing and family support
- Accept the covenant of Habitat for Humanity International and act as the leading advocate in the community in regard to fulfilling its’ mission.
- Work with Board of Directors in developing and following the vision and strategic goals for JCHFH
- Effectively communicate with staff Board of Directors, volunteers, committees, general public, and news media
- Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, build support, and implement decisions and evaluate professional staff
- Maintain volunteer, community and donor database for communication and management
- Demonstrate fluid verbal and written communications staff, board, committees, donors, volunteers, partner families, service partners, a diverse community as well as community leaders and officials.
Educational Background:
BA or BS degree in marketing, business administration, non-profit management and or finance related field of study.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience with construction and home reparation
- Five years experience in 501C3 nonprofit management
- Proven track record of building successful, lasting relationships as a leader
Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary is commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience. This full-time position
- two (2) weeks (10 business days) paid time off in addition to 8 paid holidays.
