The Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Senior Donor Care Systems Analyst is responsible for working with the Donor Care Systems team to lead the administration, development, and requirements on tickets and projects implemented on WWP’s donor systems and platforms to ensure effective and efficient fundraising and an exceptional donor experience.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Review, analyze, and critically evaluate business systems and user requests to evaluate the business need
  • Research, plan, coordinate, and recommend system solutions
  • Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Communicate and collaborate proactively with team and business partners to analyze information needs, functional and technical requirements and associated deliverables
  • Develop and create business cases to support the business
  • Identify creative solutions to solve business challenges
  • Write test cases for QA based on project requirements and participate in testing activities
  • Recommend controls and proactively assess processes to reduce risk and identify potential future issues
  • Define technical project requirements and adhere to project milestones, phases, and elements
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to support the development of technical reports
  • Collaborate with internal systems teammates as well as external vendors
  • Work with business partners to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions
  • Perform administration on the Donor Care systems by maintaining the structure of the specific platforms in relation to WWP
  • Support the transfer of data through the various APIs to the vendors
  • Understand, maintain, and enhance WWP’s business processes that are implemented in Donor Systems
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Support creation of training plans, materials, and documentation for users as needed
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of Donor Care System products and platforms to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements customized to customers’ business needs
  • Manage daily requests for change, and adhere to the company’s change control process
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with business partners, key stakeholders and executive sponsors such that all fundraising activities are closely aligned with the business case and business strategies
  • Provide domains and URLs for all fundraising activities
  • Other related duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Extensive experience developing within Donor Systems
  • Strong configuration and design skills
  • Ability to maintain data integrity and quality
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team focused over-delivering customers' needs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects in varying complexity
  • Strong problem analysis/diagnostic and resolution skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work within a project-based environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise confidentiality and good judgment when working with sensitive issues
  • Ability to effectively communicate with users of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and business ethics and conduct
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and overall team effort in the department and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence others without having direct authority
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and databases and ability to create HTML and CSS to support projects

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience with databases and system administration, development and/or implementation required
  • Experience working with software and hardware vendors preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development preferred
