Warrior Care Network® is a partnership between Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) and four national academic medical centers (AMC) of excellence. In cooperation with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), this program will connect thousands of warriors with world-class care to battle the invisible wounds of war by filling gaps in government care and reaching those who might otherwise go untreated. This position will work closely with WCN affiliate hospital leadership, WWP leadership and internal WWP WCN team in order to provide general program oversight, support network governance and review analytics to help drive integration and alignment within the network. The WWP Warrior Care Network® Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for programmatic and governance aspects of the WCN.
- Assists the Vice President, Director, and Manager in continuous program management to include: focus on hospital integration and risk management, schedule management for contractual deliverables, governance oversight including committee organization, facilitation, communications and stakeholder management, as well as performance management with respect to the Academic Medical Centers (AMC) contractual compliance and data analytics through a third party provider.
- Builds relationships with the AMCs in order to maintain the strategic vision of the WCN and assist the AMCs with broad program management to include analysis of key performance metrics on a continuous basis
- Serves as a WWP point of contact with respect to WCN governance processes and compliance with internal project management processes/protocols for the WCN committees including the Executive Steering Committee
- Serves as an analyst for the overall monitoring of the Network performance management, quality and risk management, as well as a point of contact for data management with third party providers.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with WCN committee leadership in order to facilitate information flow between WWP and AMC leadership
- Provides subject matter expertise on program management, program evaluation and data analytics related to healthcare service delivery in a network setting
- Prepares briefings and reports; collaborates with WWP teammates, various AMC leaders and third party providers to obtain required data for briefings or reports. These tasks include compiling, organizing, and updating reports regularly.
- Analyze and interpret statistical data to identify trends or relationships using both raw data and dashboard visualizations.
- Apply statistical approaches to solve moderately complex problems.

- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Education & Experience Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Case Management, Health Services Administration, Healthcare/Business Administration or related healthcare field with a focus on healthcare business analytics, healthcare economics, or general healthcare administration field, required. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration with a focus healthcare operations, healthcare economics, or healthcare business analytics will also be considered.
- A minimum of eight (8) years experience working with veteran healthcare focused programming, case management, healthcare administration, healthcare business analytics, will be considered in lieu of advanced degree
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience working with and assisting military and veteran’s population required.
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience or program management in the design, development and administration of healthcare programs preferred.
