Administrative Associate - Heart Walk

We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Associate, Heart Walk in our Dallas Division office located in Irving, TX. If you are self-motivated, a team player, have experience in supporting/managing a busy team and excel at planning, organization and marketing and/or design skills we want to hear from you!

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Create and produce Heart Walk presentation materials for sponsorship and company recruitment.
  • Serve as lead for select Heart Walk sponsors to create and execute sponsorship activations
  • Plan and execute HW events including: pre-events, day of event and post-event celebrations.
  • Serve as the liaison between Heart Walk Team, Communications and Events team.
  • Adhere to AHA budgeting best practices and track budget status.
  • Cultivation of corporate contacts via the phone and face to face
  • Other duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.College coursework combined with related experience may be substituted for a degree.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Related experience may be substituted as follows: 1½y ears’ experience equates to 1 full time year of higher education.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management and/or finance.
  • Organizing,communicating, negotiating, and interpersonal skills
  • Results driven with the ability to multi task, prioritize, self-start and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Willing and able to travel within the assigned local territory approximately 25% of the time.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and extensive spreadsheets.
