  • Work closely with Walk to End Alzheimer’s Managers to provide exceptional service internally with our staff and volunteers, and externally with our participants, team captains and donors
  • Manage the online registration and fundraising system, Luminate/Convio, fully utilizing all aspects of this system in relation to customer support and donation processing
  • Manage content on Walk to End Alzheimer’s web pages hosted in the Luminate/Convio system
  • Collaboration with the walk team to develop and run reports in Luminate/Convio for staff and volunteer use, including registration reports, team retention reports, committee and volunteer reports; strategize new reports to inform fundraising and cultivation plans
  • Develop and execute year-round constituent communications efforts including team captain, participant and national team mailings and email campaigns through Convio/Luminate
  • Process and track corporate sponsorships for fundraising events
  • Update sponsorship proposal template, develop and monitor sponsorship tracking system, craft and send confirmation and event day communications, and prepare Proof of Performance reports in conjunction with walk team
  • Manage collateral fulfillment, distribution and inventory processes including securing bids, vendor management, placing orders, and taking inventory
  • Responsible for working with Director and development team during annual budget process including data collection, data entry, and data organization
  • Develop, organize, and supervise bank day, walk day and post-walk supplies, packing and inventory plans. Work with walk team to improve and implement year round, end-to-end processes
  • Provide day-of-event support for Chapter walks as assigned
  • Recruit, train and manage office volunteers to support the work of the team
  • Coordinate weekly walk and development staff meetings/calls in conjunction with Director of Development. Compile meeting notes, communicate action steps to team, and assist with information and task follow-up as assigned
  • Conduct logistics for development team gatherings, including strategy meetings, regional volunteer summit, national team kickoff, all-staff walk kickoff, team retreats, and annual Leadership Summit travel for staff/volunteers
  • Support the development team with other duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
High school diploma required, additional education preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least two years of professional experience in administrative or operations role
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills including ability to adapt processes and projects as Chapter and constituent needs evolve
  • Experience managing vendors such as graphic artists, printers, merchandise businesses, caterers, etc. to deliver special events collateral, materials, etc.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, problem-solve, and take initiative
  • Strong ability to self-manage with significant strength in time management
  • Outgoing, positive, engaging and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work on a team and develop relationships
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Proven success in managing competing projects, data sets, and varying details
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and demonstrate inclusiveness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written
  • Ability to bend, lift, stoop and transport up to 25 lbs. of materials
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products and social media; experience with, or ability to rapidly learn, Luminate/Convio software
