To assist the AP Manager in implementing and monitoring the CFL Project in the assigned Area Program to achieve the goal, outcomes, and outputs stated in the CFL design document and logical framework at target schools

Areas of Responsibility: 

Project start up (Time Spent 10%)

  • Provide clear orientation on the project for project stakeholders
  • Assists the AP Manager in preparing annual Plans of Action & Budget with the participation from local partners and community
  • Liaises and builds partnership with local partners and communities
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the line manager
  • Carry out extra task assigned by manager

Project Implementation & Management (Time Spent 50%)

  • Coordinates with local partners in daily implementation of project activities against approved POAs at district and grassroots level
  • Documents “good practices”
  • Organizes workshops, training, and other capacity building activities as necessary.
  • Performs administrative tasks as assigned by the line manager
  • Work with other AP staff to integrate the project into the current TP effectively
  • Assist the AP Manager to develop specific plan of Capacity building for the main stakeholders of the project

Project Monitoring & Evaluation (Time Spent 15%)

  • Assists the PEU in maintaining the project M&E system
  • Assists the AP Manager and the PEU in preparing for short survey and final evaluations
  • Work with partners to ensure effective regular monitoring and reflection of the project activities
  • Carry out extra task assigned by manager

Partnering (Time Spent 15%)

  • Liaison and effective relationships with other local partners, NGOs in project implementation and coordination in Dakrong AP are built and strengthened
  • Promotes CFL for the whole district
  • Networking with local partners in the district
Educational Background: 
Bachelor degree in education or related fields
Skills/Experience: 
  • Conceptual understanding of and commitment to development work, especially Christian, child-focused, community-based development concepts, approaches and processes;
  • Community mobilisation skills, including networking/coordination among different local partners;
  • Demonstrated training and group facilitation skills;
  • Good time management and organizational skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in Vietnamese and English
  • Good computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email;

Experience

  • 1-2 years of work experience in the area of rural development/community development
  • Experience in INGO-funded project planning and implementation.
