What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
Procurement support (80%)- Ensure USP staff compliance with established procurement policy
- Train staff on Agency procurement policy in collaboration with SCUS Procurement teams
- Provide guidance on purchasing and distribution of supply orders, equipment, and other goods for the Hurricane Harvey Response
- Provides oversight and assistance for all large purchases in excess of $3000
- Provide monthly dashboard to show compliance measurements
- Audit incoming invoices to ensure paperwork and approval requirements are met before being forwarded to Accounts Payable for payment
Inventory management oversight (15%)
- Assist with managing inventory tracking process for US Programs
- Assist with maintaining the US Programs asset management database
Other tasks, as assigned (5%)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school degree
- AA or Bachelor in Business or a related field preferres
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in vendor management, contract management, process management, and/or customer support preferred
- Must possess strong communication, customer service, and resolution skills
- Must have a familiarity with reports, business correspondence, and meeting organization
- Must have a familiarity with development of systems, policies, and procedures
- Must have strong desktop computer skills
