The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing marketing, Communications, advertising and promotional activities at Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity and reports directly to the Executive Director. The Marketing and Communications Manager takes steps to measure, enhance and enrich the position and image of GAHFH through various goals and objectives.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Plan marketing, communication and branding objectives
  • Manage content and design of GAHFH’s main website and social media accounts including Facebook and Twitter
  • Prepare marketing and communications strategy alongside other executives and key staff
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and communication development strategies
  • Adhere to budgets
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements and other marketing materials.
  • Design print ads and publications
  • Ensure brand messages are consistent
  • Gather and analyze analytics and data
  • Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the organization
  • Engage and grow each individual social media community
  • Deepen relationships with all media to ensure most effective messaging and positioning of the organization
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media forms, collaborating with senior staff
  • Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics
  • Generate direct mail and monthly newsletter pieces
  • Work with other departments to assist with their marketing and communication needs
  • Work with senior staff to support special events hosted by the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field. Proven proficiency in all areas of marketing. Experience within the field. Portfolio preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Illustrator
  • Great technical and writing skills; excellent grammar and punctuation skills
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an eagerness to interact with all community members
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to organize, execute and prioritize multiple projects
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Professional judgment and discretion, ability to handle confidential information and situations
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to a team based work environment
Compensation/Benefits: 
  • $40,000/year with full benefits available after 60 days
