This position will oversee the Financial Development team, with primary focus on the success of the YMCA’s annual campaign, major gifts campaign, volunteerism, and special events.  This position is responsible for the implementation and fidelity of the annual campaign’s best practices Association-wide.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight for all annual support and family center development Association-Wide, raising in excess of $3,000,000 annually with expected growth year over year;
  • Managing and steering the Financial Development team of four to six staff, to accomplish and exceed goals;
  • Overseeing foundation and grant fundraising requests;
  • Institutionalizing annual campaign best practices (Red Book and/or Annual Campaign Manual).
  • Overseeing major donor and annual special events, including MLK day and annual gala;
  • Utilizing and interpreting data to create reports and strategize future goals;
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years’ experience in financial development or applicable field.
Skills/Experience: 
  • YMCA experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track securing Major Gifts for an organization.
  • Proven results in annual campaign, fundraising and grant procurement in excess of $3,000,000.
  • CFRE designation preferred.
  • Full knowledge and experience with the Red Book Training and/or Annual Campaign Manual.
  • Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and database management. Experience working with Daxko development and membership modules or experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or other CSR programs a plus.
  • Proven record of leadership and group achievement.
  • Able to work independently to meet individual and group goals.
  • Proven track record in recruiting and managing volunteer committees, campaigners and board members.
Compensation/Benefits: 

$92,000.00 - $110,000.00
