Save the Children is seeking a Digital Asset Management Intern to help organize and promote our library of photos, videos and stories. Reporting into the Marketing, Brand & Content team, the Digital Asset Intern will review, evaluate, categorize, tag, and track assets across multiple file types including photos, graphics, video and sound files.

During their assignment, the Digital Asset Intern will be involved in (non-technical) database management, learn advanced searching techniques, gain insight into marketing content and storytelling, and learn about Save the Children’s work in the US and around the world. 

Other projects and tasks may be assigned as need and time allows.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Digital Asset Management Intern will review, evaluate, categorize, tag, and track assets across multiple file types including photos, graphics, video and sound files.

  • Properly tag and assign metadata (information about the content) to assets
  • Ensure that existing assets adhere to child safeguarding standards
  • Review and perform quality control (QC) on existing descriptions and tags
  • Archive and organize assets
  • Help identify and curate assets for upcoming marketing campaigns and moments
  • Communicate content issues to supervisor 
Educational Background: 
Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate, student or have graduated within 6 months of start date
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills..
  • Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Currently eligible to work in the U.S.
