Event Support & Donor Cultivation Support Skilled Volunteer

The Individual Philanthropy Group (IPG)  focuses on developing relationships with major donor and prospects ($10,000 and above).  The skilled volunteer will play an important role supporting events and donor cultivation. They will provide all necessary support for a team of fundraisers in IPG and the Associate Director in Events.  The volunteer will have a variety of responsibilities and support different projects. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

Event Support will include:

  • Strong planning expertise include dealing with facility rentals, vendors, caterers and more
  • Process gifts to ensure the correct appeal codes are used
  • Help with day of event – including name tags, material, set-up

Donor Cultivation Support will include:

  • Support with donor database
  • Coordinating year-end mailings
  • Coordinating donor meetings and presentations
Skills/Experience: 
  • Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • May NOT be a student or have graduated within 6 months of start date
