The Individual Philanthropy Group (IPG) focuses on developing relationships with major donor and prospects ($10,000 and above). The skilled volunteer will play an important role supporting events and donor cultivation. They will provide all necessary support for a team of fundraisers in IPG and the Associate Director in Events. The volunteer will have a variety of responsibilities and support different projects.
Areas of Responsibility:
Event Support will include:
- Strong planning expertise include dealing with facility rentals, vendors, caterers and more
- Process gifts to ensure the correct appeal codes are used
- Help with day of event – including name tags, material, set-up
Donor Cultivation Support will include:
- Support with donor database
- Coordinating year-end mailings
- Coordinating donor meetings and presentations
Skills/Experience:
- Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- May NOT be a student or have graduated within 6 months of start date
