The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX .
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in building and managing candidate relationships.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Act as project manager for DDI Targeted Selection implementation and day to day support with AHA leaders/hiring managers
- Reviews resumes against position requirements to help identify potentially qualified candidates. Dispositions candidates and notifies as needed in the applicant tracking system
- Assists with scheduling interviews via video, Skype, or in person. Communicates schedule with all impacted participants. Provides support during interview process
- Coordinates travel, hotel and hospitality for candidates interviewing face-to-face with hiring managers
- Coordinates background check and candidate assessments
- Works in applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to produce reports for Talent Acquisition Group
- Assist Talent Acquisition Team with email and phone correspondence, social media, and creation of monthly newsletter. Ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed
- Act in a supporting role for Internship recruiting
- Work with project team on creating interview guides
- Coordinate and set up for any Talent Acquisition trainings
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree or related recruiting experience ideally within a fast-paced organization.
Skills/Experience:
- Two (2) years of human resource/recruiting experience, preferred.
- Ability to work with various levels of internal and external customers.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- Be able to multi-task several projects at one time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interest in a career in recruiting.
