The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager in our Emergency Cardiovascular Care department based out of our National Center office located in Dallas, TX! This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy for assigned products/programs. Responsible for developing marketing campaigns, and initiatives, finding collaborative opportunities, building partnerships, aligning brand structure and guidelines, and maintaining internal and external-facing marketing mediums, including online strategy, website development, content management, marketing automation tools and conference/tradeshow presence.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Creates, manages and executes marketing plans for assigned programs such as internal communications, consumer marketing, web and social media marketing
  • Manages the development of marketing collateral across digital/interactive/experiential, social media, webinars and live events
  • Proven track-record of creating and managing targeted campaigns (drip campaigns, retargeting, funnel and sales journey) by creating compelling content and templates delivered through automation tools and CRM.
  • Designs and compiles materials for online publications
  • Provides marketing expertise to a product development process, including product management
  • Manages vendor/agency relationships to ensure effective execution and timely delivery of program components
  • Partners and executes projects with existing AHA programs and initiatives
  • Facilitates marketing campaign prioritization in collaboration with internal stakeholders and establishes long-term integrated marketing plans aligned to the unique needs of the program
  • Manages content development for social media, blogs and web assets
  • Collaborates with other AHA departments on reporting and status updates that will provide visibility into marketing campaign results and measure effectiveness (including lead generation, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution and ROI of marketing efforts within the program)
  • Supports sales teams through program support, sales collateral, campaign creation and funnel development
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, advertising, or product management
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing marketing programs involving integrated marketing and communications
  • Experience with eCommerce marketing a plus
  • Web content management (CMS), A/B testing and CRM platforms (MS Dynamics/Salesforce, Oracle and Sitecore) experience a plus
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and software (ExactTarget/Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Constant Contact, HubSpot) a plus
  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, email marketing, digital advertising and social media
  • Must speak fluent analytics, with the ability to make data-based decisions

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay
