Responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy for the program. Responsible for developing marketing initiatives, collaborative opportunities, partnership requests, brand structure and guidelines, and maintaining internal and external-facing marketing mediums, including online strategy, website development, marketing tools and conference presence.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Creates, manages and executes marketing plans for assigned program such as internal communications, consumer marketing, web and social media marketing
  • Manages the development of marketing collateral across digital/interactive, social media, webinars and live events
  • Designs and compiles materials for online publications. Creates and updates digital marketing platforms
  • Manages vendor/agency relationships to ensure effective execution and timely delivery of program components
  • Partners and executes projects with existing AHA programs and initiatives. Facilitates marketing campaign prioritization in collaboration with internal stakeholders and establishes long-term integrated marketing plans aligned to the unique needs of the community engagement program.
  • Collaborates with Communications team to execute timely promotions. Evaluates and maintains brand integrity and evolving needs
  • Collaborates with other AHA departments on reporting and status updates that will provide visibility into marketing campaign results and measure effectiveness, including lead generation, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution and ROI of marketing efforts within the program.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, advertising or journalism
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5 years of experience managing marketing programs involving integrated marketing communications
  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, email marketing, digital advertising and social media
  • Excellent project management skills
