The Annual Campaign Director will play a key role in the planning, training and implementation of the Association Annual Campaign and the Board of Directors Campaign. Annual Campaign management will include organizing, communicating and implementing key campaign events and initiatives such as Association kickoffs, Giving Days and Appeal Letter Drives. The Annual Campaign Manager position will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, maintenance and stewarding of Annual Campaign donors, which will include an annual fundraising goal related to the Board of Directors Campaign. Serves as a member of the Development team in providing development support to Executive Directors, Board of Directors, Board of Managers, and other staff and volunteers, which includes direct development support of assigned branches. Also serves as a vital team member in support and delivery of association-wide events.
- In collaboration with the VP of Development, plan, manage and implement association wide annual campaign initiatives around improvement of donor retention, member giving, online giving and board/staff campaigns.
- Responsible for managing relationships and support at assigned branches and being the liaison with these branches for the development office.
- Identify, cultivate and secure donor prospects for the annual campaign, with annual fundraising goals developed.
- Under the direction of the VP of Development, work closely with association and branch volunteers and staff in the planning and implementation of the overall annual support campaign, developing an annual written plan to meet goals.
- Manage campaign reporting, evaluate progress towards goals, prepare periodic reports on fundraising and present to the volunteers and staff; recommend revisions to the fundraising plan, as needed, to meet goals.
- Ensure annual campaign donor acknowledgement, stewardship and public recognition.
- Maintain and enhance the association relationship with annual campaign major gift donors and provide all required reports and data annually.
- Working in collaboration with Marketing/Communications, develop the annual materials and communications for the Annual Campaign.
- Under the direction of the VP of Development provide the planning, training, recruitment, resource development and support of the Board of Directors Campaign and Association Annual Campaign.
- Plan and implement a schedule of annual campaign trainings for branch staff and volunteers.
- In coordination with VP of Development, plan and implement all annual campaign events, such as Annual Campaign Essentials, Branch Campaign Planning Day, Kickoffs and Celebrations.
- Plan and implement annual Major Gift/CRT recognition event(s)
- Plan and implement all association wide annual campaign related initiatives including, North Texas Day of Giving, YMCA Day of Giving, Giving Tuesday, End of Year Appeals and Lapsed Donor Appeals.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in fundraising or related field with a track record of success, with specific experience in annual campaign planning and delivery.
- Experience in planning, training and implementing fundraising campaigns.
- Experience in scheduling solicitation calls and conducting follow up and stewardship.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in producing campaign materials.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills, capable of working effectively with board members, staff members, volunteers, consultants and donors/prospects.
- Energetic, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable, able to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced work environment.
- A team player with an attitude of service and ability to motivate others.
Salary: $51,344.00 - $60,000.00
