Account Manager, Print Production & Operations

The American Heart Association has an excellent job opportunity for a Production Solutions Account Manager position based in our Headquarters office in Dallas, TX.

Responsible for planning, executing and delivering print and promotional production projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors and consultants, printers and brokers in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provide account management to assigned customers that support business goals by developing project plans, defining deliverables and timelines using appropriate systems.
  • Procure print and promotional products using preferred suppliers to reduce AHA’s production expenses. Negotiate and communicate production schedule, approvals and deadlines.
  • Research and devise innovative solutions to complex print/distribution projects with various logistical needs. Identify and resolve potential issues through analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Manage inventory by analyzing data and trends to ensure appropriate print quantities. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Educational Background: 
Some college degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Communications or Marketing or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with marketing and promotional commercial printing and Audio Visual production
  • Experience developing and delivering against project specifications and deadlines including project adjustments and alterations.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret relevant numerical and qualitative data, think logically and make decisions independently
  • Ability to conceptualize, reason and problem solve. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, database management and internet
  • Strong Project Management skills. Ability to proof materials, track and maintain multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and good written communication skills
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-orientated, collaborate environment is essential.
  • Ability to learn procurement, inventory and financial systems 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Adminstration, Communications or Marketing
