FHI 360 proposes to hire a National Key Population CSO Coordinator who will coordinate and oversee the operational roll-out of learning site activities under the USAID-supported ‘Technical Assistance Partnership’. The candidate will be required to coordinate extensively with FHI 360 India, Global LINKAGES partners, CSO learning site partners, and other stakeholders / consultants to ensure that the different technical tools and resources to set-up the learning sites are adapted and made available for Sri Lanka.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Closely work with NSACP and GFATM partners to ensure implementation of key strategies outlined in the USAID-NSACP Technical Assistance Partnership for CSO Key Population Programs.
- Coordinate with the learning site partners to ensure that the Key Population program tools and guidelines, Behavior Change Communication materials and other activities are implemented as per agreed timeline.
- Review the performance of the learning site coordinators and mentor the learning site team to discharge their duties.
- Identify programmatic gaps in the CSO learning site program implementation and coordinate with FHI 360, India team and other stakeholders to address the gaps and challenges.
- Ensure provision of quality advisory services and facilitation of capacity building for CSO learning site partners.
- Periodically review financial and programmatic milestones of the learning sites and provide guidance to meet the deliverables.
- Provide inputs to CSO learning site partners for implementation of data quality assessment and improvement in program outcomes.
- Document learnings from the three learning sites and prepare reports, fact sheets for dissemination to external stakeholders.
Educational Background:
Advance University degree (Masters) in development, public administration, social sciences or related field
Skills/Experience:
EXPERTISE AND COMPLEXITY:
Demonstrated ability to work with local CSOs to implement programs.
- Ability to travel extensively within Sri Lanka.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Internet fluency a plus.
- Should have good communication skills both verbal and written
- Women candidates and People Living with HIV fulfilling above will be equally considered.
EXPERIENCE:
- The candidate should be native of Sri Lanka or should have knowledge of HIV & AIDS program in Sri Lanka.
- Total of 10-12 years’ experience, with at least 5 years of experience with health/nutrition/ poverty alleviation/women empowerment program in Sri Lanka or in the region.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a program management position with experience of developing workplans, monitoring timelines, grant management, reporting, documentation and budget utilization.
- Demonstrated ability to work with local CSOs to implement programs.
- Ability to travel extensively within Sri Lanka.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Internet fluency a plus.
- Should have good communication skills both verbal and written
