Working under direct supervision of the Senior Manager –Corporate Partnerships and Local Fund Raising, the Partnerships Coordinator will manage the acquisition stage of each partnership. Working in collaboration with the Junior Partnerships Officers & other stakeholders, the position will support the development of new corporate partnerships. This role will mainly entail the development of new concept notes, proposals, and other relevant documentation such as Memorandum Of Understandings, subsidiary agreements & related contractual agreements in the acquisition stage of each partnership.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Proposal development –Timely development of concept notes, proposals and other required documentation with accurate detail that results in successful corporate partnership bids
  • Database creation and management –Develop & maintain Database of all submitted concept notes, proposals, etc.
  • Secure corporate partners –Support the Corporate Partnerships Team in the development of concept notes, proposals, etc in securing new partnering opportunities with the Corporate sector
  • Engagement with Operations-Engage with the Area Development Programs/Area Program to identify & record & develop a systematic process to identify & records needs
  • Development of MOU’s-Develop MOU’s for successful concept notes/proposals & Liase with the Corporate Solutions/Legal Team in drafting relevant agreements
  • Effective team management –Provide required guidance & support to the Junior Partnerships officers in ensuring high quality output of a highly motivated team
  • Contribute to achieving the targets of the Corporate Partnerships team –Support the team in achieving its strategic goals & objectives
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or other relevant discipline
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 05 years’experience working in a similar field or developmental context
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) & Sinhala and/or Tamil
  • Strong IT skills and extensive knowledge in MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of the political, humanitarian and development context in Sri Lanka
  • Critical, creative and innovative thinking and facilitation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and network effectively
  • Proven experience in successful proposal development & acquisition of corporate partnership
