The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a temporary Heart Mini Administrative Associate in our Great Rivers Affiliate office located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Heart Mini event is the single largest fundraising event in the Great Rivers Affiliate and currently the #1 philanthropic event in Cincinnati.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provides top-notch customer service to event participants via the Heart Mini online chat tool
  • Provides fundraising support to a specified portfolio of Heart Mini companies/teams
  • Assists with data entry of Heart Mini registrations & donations
  • Runs errands for team, picking up donations, dropping off race packets, etc.
  • Miscellaneous duties
Educational Background: 
Two year degree in business/office/administrative field preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 2 years of experience in an office setting as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and database tools
  • Ability to work general office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, phone systems, etc
  • Independent, self-motivated worker
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of business professionals
  • Ability to interact with local and affiliate staff
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task to meet deadlines
