Lead brand marketing and content development for Feeding America and our fight to end hunger.  Clearly position Feeding America as the leader in hunger-relief and an innovator in ending hunger.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Responsible for brand strategy and implementation.
  • Lead brand communication framework and the role of core target audiences within the FA marketing portfolio.
  • Oversee brand and message research and identify actionable insights.
  • Create messaging for brand and key Feeding America programs and initiatives.
  • Lead Ad Council, Starcom, and other key creative and media agencies to create and distribute content to drive brand awareness and consideration.
  • Lead pro-bono media effort.
  • Ensure high standards of creative development and execution across all marketing content.
  • Develop and management strategic media partnerships that can provide content development and/or syndication.
  • Work with CMCO and Marketing and Communications VPs to develop and oversee core national campaigns throughout the year.
  • Establish linkages across the national organization that best leverages local food bank activity, so that there is increased synergy.
  • Responsible for identifying and monitoring Brand KPIs and shared MarCom key measures.
  • Provide marketing information and expertise to the national organization, the food bank network, and other partners.
  • Oversee marketing tools and resources that members can use easily and with clear benefit.
  • Support local execution of Public Service Announcement campaign.
  • Drive innovation within brand and overall marketing function. 
  • Work closely with marketing leadership and other core functions to create relevant messaging that reflects FA’s vision and 2025 goal.
Educational Background: 
BS in Marketing or Related field
MBA desirable
Skills/Experience: 
  • Cover letter with resume required.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience.
  • Experience developing and executing successful local marketing campaigns, promotions and partnership programs.
  • Experience with consumer segmentation, brand positioning and tracking studies and a track-record of developing actionable insights.
  • Proven record across number of paid and earned media channels (DRTV, direct mail, online, print, out-of-home, radio, tv) with emphasis on digital.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinker.
  • Excellent creative judgement.
  • Ability to identify innovative new creative partners.
  • Enjoy working with a cross-functional team and local constituents.
  • Ability to create compelling insights and analyze program effectiveness.
  • Experience integrating promotional campaigns with broader brand standards.
  • Committed to organizational mission of ending hunger.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
