The internship program is designed to give you an opportunity to complement your formal education with career-related experience. The internship provides a stimulating and substantive work experience, coupled with an opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of Feeding America.
Feeding America is on a journey to improve and increase the effectiveness of our human resources in several key areas including Career Development, Employee Engagement and Performance Management.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist in the updating of job descriptions to support the rollout of our new Career Framework.
- Support with analyzing and creating materials for our Annual Employee Engagement Survey.
- Support and develop materials to roll-out Leadership Competencies.
- Support the redesign of the Job Opportunity section of feedingamerica.org.
- Support the redesign of our recruiting process and tools.
- Support the communication of HR initiatives including our summer All-Staff meeting.
Educational Background:
Undergraduate or graduate, with a focus on Human Resources or Human Capital preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong written and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on multiple efforts at the same time.
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
