Assist the organization and Finance team with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis by implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Work closely with Manager and VP, as budget liaison, to assist budget owners.
  • Assist in annual budgeting process, mid-year forecast and ongoing re-forecast projections.
  • Review and ensure understanding and monitor appropriate use of donor funding.
  • Maintain inter-departmental communications and relationships.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly revenue reporting including report preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of the financial statement variance analysis.
  • Develop and record standard monthly allocations. 
  • Record expense transfers to donor funded projects and process expense adjustments.
  • Assist in the annual Product Valuation process.
  • Develop ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.
  • Work on special projects as assigned throughout the year.
  • Process Improvement – gain knowledge of financial systems and help drive process automation to assist with forecasting and detailed reporting.
Educational Background: 
BA/BS accepted or equivalent experience. CPA is a plus.

Required Technical Competencies and Experience

  • At least 2 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with enterprise wide computer applications along with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with BPM application (such as Prophix) desired. NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Must demonstrate analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines
