To provide expertise in financial and operational analysis and leverage systems to facilitate financial process improvements.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Automate Finance business process to drive efficiency.
  • Partner with departments across the organization to drive improvements in end-to-end business processes.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of system capabilities and implement functionality to maximize investment.
  • Represent Finance as the liaison with the IT department on all Finance system projects.
  • Maintain and support the general ledger, accounts payable, purchasing, disbursement, travel & entertainment, and budgeting and financial reporting applications.
  • Lead the development, testing and implementation across the Finance team for the new release version and system enhancements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial reports and tools to facilitate timely and accurate financial information.
  • Coordinate Finance team knowledge management activities, including ensuring processes and policies are documented, updated, and the finance team content and resources (documents, files, forms, analyses, etc.) are organized, searchable, and accessible.
  • Identify training opportunities, develop plans and execute project to implement Finance and organizational trainings on business processes.
  • Participate on special project teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
BA/BS or relevant experience (Accounting / Finance / Business / Technology)
Skills/Experience: 
  • 7 years financial experience with responsibility as a systems or business analyst
  •  Non-Profit experience preferred

  Required Technical Competence and Experience

  • Excellent MS Office skills along with hands on experience in setting up, maintaining, and administering enterprise-wide applications such as NetSuite and business intelligence reporting. Experience with SQL a plus.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
