The Project Manager of CRM – Salesforce Administrator will be the primary technology administer of Feeding America’s two Salesforce Orgs. This will involve maintaining related applications deployed on the Salesforce platform, support Salesforce business administrators processes and practices, data access and protection and troubleshoot or escalate issues as needed. As project manager this individual will plan, execute, and finalize projects, with an emphasis on CRM applications and assist ongoing support of those CRM initiatives.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Design, configure and maintain business specific programs within Feeding America’s Salesforce Orgs, in conjunction with internal staff and external partners, with attention to long-term organizational needs.
- Participate in all aspects of Salesforce releases, including feature review and impact analysis, planning, designing, building, testing, deploying, supporting and documenting.
- Assist business administrators and Salesforce developers with the configuration and support of the Salesforce Orgs, as well as related Salesforce applications, such as NGO Connect, Drawloop, Rollup Helper and others.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide recommendations, and implement solutions in the areas of data integrity standards, data quality and overall Salesforce system usage.
- Manage and perform testing and validation processes, including UAT and Quality Assurance, in Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Train, inform, and support users regarding system functionality, enhancements, system configuration and best practices.
- Manage all live production activity and lead efforts to resolve production incidents.
- Manage request/incident ticket tracking system. Reports metrics.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Oversee vendor release deployments and leads internal technical change management practices in CRM applications.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience required.
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years equivalent work experience within Salesforce.
- 5+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Technical expertise as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Competent and proficient understanding of business tools and platforms (working familiarity with SharePoint, Informatica, Tableau, and NetSuite a Plus).
- Extensive hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Expert communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Committed to organizational mission of ending hunger.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification(s).
- Familiarity with NGO Connect (NGOC).
- Experience with complex Salesforce implementations and integrations.
- Experience with Blackbaud/Convio Luminate Online.
- Understanding of nonprofit organizations.
