We have an excellent opportunity for an Office Manager based in our Chicago office .
Areas of Responsibility:
The Office Manager will support the business and corporate operations of the local office. Will also support the Senior Director of Facilities in managing payment information for our offices within our eleven-state affiliate.
- Perform receptionist duties for the Chicago office, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Handle the payment process for facilities in Chicago and the affiliate.
- Assist the Building Operations Associate with day-to-day mailroom tasks.
- Assist Chicago staff with booking of conference rooms and seating charts.
- In conjunction with the Building Operations Associate, ensure that the break room has the necessary supplies and assist with the physical set up for meetings/events.
Educational Background:
Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.
Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a related office management/business operations role. Previous reception experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.
- Experience and skill in using a database management system.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with the expectation that items in excess of 25 pounds would be broken down into smaller components or additional assistance is required before lifting and/or moving.
