Planned Parenthood of Northern New England is seeking candidates for a 36hr/wk Healthcare Associate (HCA) position out of our Burlington, VT health center.  HCAs play a vital role for PPNNE to continue to provide excellent healthcare to our loyal and supportive population. HCAs perform a variety of tasks divided between the front desk administrative areas and providing clinical support as a ‘back’ HCA while keeping the health center operation and patient flow consistent and efficient.  Front desk administrative duties include scheduling, patient registration, quoting & collecting patient’s financial responsibilities, cash drawer balancing and medical records management whereas the back HCA clinical tasks include phlebotomy, injection administration, contraception counseling and education, pregnancy testing and appropriate counseling.  Ideal candidates need to be flexible, self-motivated, team oriented and provide excellent customer service by being conscientious to our patient’s needs. Computer skills are necessary.

Educational Background: 
High School
Skills/Experience: 
  • Qualifications require 1-3 years of administrative and/or clinical experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
