Data Processing Coordinator, Strategic Development

This position is a member of our Strategic Development Team which is known for providing outstanding support to divisions across our ten-state affiliate. Primary responsibilities include supporting fundraising campaign operations, data processing and business processes in compliance with all policies, fiscal standards and regulatory requirements. This is highly detail-oriented work and consistently meeting timelines, managing accuracy standards and data integrity and maintaining the security of all donor and customer information are essential.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Data Management and Receipting

  • Create and edit Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Donations, and other records to ensure high-quality data. Adhere to standards and timelines referenced in Data Quality plan. Conduct ongoing and ad-hoc data-quality projects across multiple systems. Receipts, and other forms of correspondence, are accurately prepared and mailed according to specified procedures.

General Support

  • Manage incoming customer requests, assist as needed with special projects, online customer support, CRM special projects, event website builds and updates, credit card processing, centralized office Support initiatives/projects.

Data Reporting

  • Prepare and complete standard and ad-hoc reports correctly and within agreed upon timeframes. Reports are reviewed for accuracy before being published. Proper formatting procedures are used to ensure consistent and accurate format.

Accounting & Finance Processes

  • Serve as the back-up for accounting and finance processes with responsibility for accurately processing donations received. As needed, help coordinate and administer the preparation, processing, reporting and tracking of incoming mail and all financial contributions accurately, timely and completely in accordance with established guidelines and fiscal standards.

Value-Added Projects

  • Assist the American Heart Association outside the scope of employee’s primary objectives. Activities that serve the AHA’s overall organizational objectives and strategic plan. Demonstrate involvement in various activities during the year.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Highly effective interpersonal and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to respond and meet a wide variety of requests in a professional, courteous and accurate manner.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Advanced proficiency in Customer Relationship Management systems including data entry and reporting.
  • High degree of detail-orientation in completing routine and more complex projects.
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
