To monitor food /cash and non-food distribution and support the monitoring of food security in the targeted project areas for the well- being of children, families and communities

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Sensitize traders in the area of work on the project and its approach (10%)
  • Ensure registration of beneficiaries for any distributions using LMMS system (15%)
  • Ensure that distributors complete all forms and records pertaining to distributions. These forms must be completed and updated periodically as required.(10%)
  • Ensure proper accounting of all quantities of vouchers received and distributed at each centre/distribution site. (10%)
  • In collaboration with Communal Project Officer, ensure documentation of commodity transactions and submit reports regularly. (10%)
  • Ensure that warehouses/ stores at field level are well managed and they meet basic safety regulations. (10%)
  • Ensure timely payment of beneficiaries of cash for work component in liaison with mobile network provider selected (15%)
  • Produce monthly reports in compliance with WV policies to the Grants Coordinator (10%)
  • Actively engage in promotion of Food Security interventions in the Community (10%)
Educational Background: 
A2 Diploma in agriculture or equivalent certificate
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience: have a minimum of two years field experience
  • Preferred: Working experience in humanitarian affairs preferably in food/voucher distribution. Excellent timely and accurately monitoring and evaluating food and non-food commodity transactions.

List additional work experience required as a minimum qualification for this position.

  • Must have a motorcycle driving license
  • Experience gained with NGOs particularly World Vision would be an advantage.
  • Good listening skills and capacity to observe and analyze complex situations.
  • Computer skills (Ms Word, Ms Excel, etc) required.
  • Ability to speak, read and write both in French and English.
