Title/Position:   Clinical Director

Reports to:        Deputy Director

Location:          Camp Harbor View, Boston MA, Full-Time, In-Person

 

Objectives

This is an exciting position for an entrepreneurial and team-oriented clinical social worker looking for an exciting challenge. The Clinical Director is responsible for the development and implementation of clinical support services for the diverse population of young people enrolled in Camp Harbor View’s Leadership Academy programs, with a specific focus on  serving young people participating in the Leader in Training Program and 9th Grade RISE programs (grades 9-12). In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of clinical interventions for these programs, as well as the design and implementation of the accompanying systems of tracking and documentation. The Clinical Director is a key member of the program team, managing clinical staff and ensuring a high-quality clinical program.

Responsibilities:

  • Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and scalable growth
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based clinical services to a caseload of Ten (10) clients

 

  • Provide supervision to two clinical social workers covering clinical workflow and documentation associated with but not limited to (a) onboarding and terminating clients, (b) assessment and diagnosis, (c) initial and follow-up treatment plans, (d) crisis/high risk intervention
  • Provide best practice interventions and evidence-based treatment modalities as well as ensuring that assigned supervisees are providing treatment interventions that are sensitive to culture, age, gender, class, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and other personal identification factors
  • Ensure your supervisees are meeting Key Performance Indicators by tracking supervisees’ caseloads, reviewing clinical documentation and performance goals
  • Plan and oversee all client care and administrative operations for programs
  • Enhance systems for client goals, ensuring proper reporting to senior leadership on program goals and goals to actuals
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel
  • Assign cases and create schedules for all employees
  • Coordinate and supervise staff providing coaching and development including annual performance reviews
  • Provide supervisees with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
  • Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • LICSW required
  • At least 3 years of direct experience managing clinical program
  • Experience working in an after-school setting serving young people grades 8-12
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and approach in strength-based environment working with clients
  • Strong understanding of individuals served, staff, and constituents from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience building community partnerships, and a strong understanding of the social service system, issues, trends, and resources
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and independently
  • Ability to set priorities, and manage multiple tasks to deadline
  • Flexibility to work camp and after-school hours, especially as seasons and service needs change
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, energetic, detail-oriented, organized, authentic and passionate about young people’s growth and development
Educational Background: 
LICSW Licensure Required
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary range from $85,000 - $100,000 Anually
