Job Title: Executive Director
Reports To: Board of Directors
Nonprofit, faith-based, Habitat for Humanity McLean County is seeking an Executive Director who will provide leadership, manage multiple projects and initiatives for the organization, and provide staff management with a strong emphasis on fundraising, financial management, grant writing, and daily operations. The successful candidate will be committed to the mission of eliminating substandard housing by improving communities and revitalizing or building simple, safe, decent, affordable homes. Must be able to collaborate and work well with the board of directors, local churches, community organizations, partner families, donors and sponsors.
Ideal candidate will have previous management/supervisory/administrative experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must have good written/oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for the mission. Must be team oriented, high energy, and able to meet project demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines. Position is full - time and requires occasional evening and weekend work.
