The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Executive Director to achieve budget goals and strategic planning and expand upon fundraising efforts by implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan. Including fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, direct appeals and planned giving.
- Implement comprehensive fundraising plan and policies
- Maintain and grow donation levels
- Annual fundraising and special event mailings
- Grant Writing
- Prepare and issue press releases
- Maintain donor database
- Secure sponsorships
To be qualified for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in non-profit development, plus a minimum of 2 years of development experience with proven responsibility and competency in institutional, individual, and special event fundraising efforts. Display the ability to work with and lead volunteers to fully meet the obligations of this position. Familiarity with Yellowstone County’s funding community a plus.
