Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a highly regarded voluntary health service organization, is seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Financial Operations Department at its National Headquarters in Bethesda, MD.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, The Operations Coordinator will coordinate the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s procurement and payment procedures.
  • The Operations Coordinator is responsible for processing orders and resupplies, timely payment of all invoices across both Operations and IT departments (“Procurement”), prompt customer service and supporting other members of the Operations team involved in the procurement process.
  • The Operations Coordinator resolves ordering issues, invoice errors and responds to customer inquiries pertaining to purchases. Assists the Operations Supervisor with other administrative operations as needed.
Educational Background: 
College Degree or equivalent work experience required – preferably in Business, Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain Management and/or related field.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Initiative, follow-through, sound and accurate judgement with an ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions.
  • Candidate must be proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excl. Access database knowledge helpful; and 1-2 years purchasing experience preferred.
