Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Payroll / Accounts Payable Coordinator process bi-weekly payroll, accounts payable invoices, and ensures that Planned Parenthood of Maryland maintains good standing with our vendors.
- Ability to successfully operate a computer, accounting software, and adding machines.
- Ability to comprehend and apply concepts for enhancement and efficiency of department and general operations.
- Ability to timely complete multi-faceted functions with minimal supervision.
- Be highly organized and detail oriented, efficient, and accurate in work performance.
- Possess and display excellent customer service skills.
- Possess and display positive and proper communication skills.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent document organization and filing skills (both paper and electronic). Ability to develop effective paper and electronic filing and document management systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate – Pivot Tables or similar skills)
