The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a temporary Youth Market Mail Clerk in our Austin office. This position provides support to Customer Service Manager including processing of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, and fulfilling orders for our Youth Market department. Works under general supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3 months (end date subject to change).

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  • Fulfill Youth Market orders and maintain inventory records as needed.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse as needed.
Educational Background: 
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; 1-3 years related experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures, telephone etiquette, record keeping, filing, data entry formats for computerized record keeping, purchasing procedures and systems, as well as postal rules and regulations
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, effective oral communications
  • Ability to work and interact with staff and public with sufficient maturity, judgment, initiative, confidence and poise and to work in a team environment
  • Non Smoker
