The goal of the Optimization team is to continuously optimize how our customers engage with our digital platforms. As part of that work, the Sr. Consultant works within our digital strategy to accomplish the goals of new event and donor acquisition and retention as well as improving the long-term effectiveness of our websites and other online channels. The position will be the internal advocate for digital optimization and responsible for optimizing the brand websites to drive incremental revenue through analyzing site data, developing and executing A/B, multivariate and other site testing and applying learnings to impact the user experience. In this role, the Sr. Consultant will develop an in-depth knowledge of our customer engagement channels, business model, online marketing strategy, and analytics tools to develop and optimize the ACS digital experience.
•Focus on improving the right digital metrics, maximizing ROI, and driving revenue.
•Help set testing frameworks and strategy as it evolves over time.
•Identify and execute growth opportunities relative to Society’s digital assets.
•Lead day-to-day operations of conversion rate optimization, especially top- and middle-of-the-funnel.
•Strategize cross-functionally with peers on the IT, eCommerce, Analytics, Brand, Creative, Direct Response, Social, and Search teams.
•Identify and pursue growth opportunities across ACS event sites and Cancer.org and regularly communicate experiment results and findings to key stakeholders
•Measure & Optimize Existing and Future Marketing Programs’ digital assets
•Create testing environments and establish metrics to properly measure results across different marketing channels, different customer segments, and different parts of the customer journey.
•Implement processes for A/B testing with rapid execution to deliver actionable data-driven results.
•Deliver results without biases across teams and business units for continuous feedback loop and utilize prior results to drive future initiatives. Update benchmarks and results and share to proper stakeholders

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years of digital/website optimization at the agency or brand level with management experience of suppliers, clients or major projects.
Skills:
•Outstanding analytic and quantitative skills, in particular, an ability to explore and document relationships between multiple pieces of data, and to identify the drivers underlying performance.
•Ability to effectively interpret quantitative research and analysis.
•Excellent critical thinking skills; using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
•Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across teams through verbal means as well as conceptual and visual designs
•Self-motivated, independent individual who can perform well with little guidance.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence others effectively.
•Organized and detail oriented in a fast pace environment.
Specialized Training or Knowledge
•Advanced Experience with testing tools: Optimizely; Adobe Test & Target; Google Optimize; Clicktale and/or other similar tools.
•Knowledge of HTML and experience with content management systems
•Demonstrated capacity for and/or track record in innovative and creative solutions for customer insight challenges.
