Habitat for Humanity International is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition (TA) Administrator. The Talent Acquisition Administrator will providing consultative and administrative support to Habitat partners, the Talent Acquisition team and other internal departments. This temporary position will support the recruitment of Habitat's AmeriCorps program, which totals over 450 AmeriCorps National & VISTA members serving throughout the United States.

Areas of Responsibility: 

40% Administrative Support:

  • Support the Manager – TA and TA team members with various administrative duties, operations and processes
  • Monitoring and providing timely responses to voice messages and emails coming into one or more departmental inboxes
  • Updating TA-related databases and maintaining documentation

40% Candidate Sourcing: 

  • Provide active sourcing support to various members of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team as needed for niche skill sets and hard-to-recruit positions
  • Posting positions on a variety of channels
  • Working in LinkedIn Recruiter, Devex or a variety of other candidate databases 
  • Researching and disseminating to the team new advertising channels and trends for the various types of positions that are supported by the TA team (international/global, US employment, internships, volunteers, AmeriCorps, etc.)

20% Full-Cycle Recruitment:

  • Recruit assigned positions (employment, volunteer, intern and/or AmeriCorps)
  • Conducting initial recruitment meetings with hiring managers
  • Reviewing and posting ads for HFHI, affiliates and National Organizations
  • Using the Applicant Tracking System to forward and manage candidates most closely meeting the selection criteria
  • Facilitating selection of candidates for assigned positions by following-up with the interviewers
  • Communicating regularly with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle, providing appropriate information about hours and pay, responsibilities and other information during the recruitment process, consulting the Compensation Manager and other internal HR staff as required
  • Following the established offer approval process and extending conditional verbal and written offers; performing related due diligence; ensuring a smooth transition from time of offer through the start date
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1 to 2 years of Talent Acquisition or Human Resources experience
  • Experience with actively sourcing candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder database searches, Devex, etc. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working well with a variety of personalities and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion with sensitive information
  • Experience multi-tasking, managing multiple assignments, priorities and objectives simultaneously
  • Ability to work successfully with a large number and variety of clients and internal leadership, successfully managing the process and facilitating decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience managing candidates and portions of the recruitment cycle using an Applicant Tracking System such as BrassRing
