As the organization enters the process of refreshing the strategic plan, you will have the opportunity to assist Habitat’s leaders in the evaluation of its global strategy. Our ideal candidate is someone who can think analytically and strategically, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position reports to the Strategy Manager and will be a member of the SRT.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Support the collection, analysis and publication of the annual evaluation of the Habitat for Humanity International global Strategic Plan.
  • Provide analytical support to the SRT serving internal clients in the areas of strategy, business planning and change management.
  • Support the quarterly review process through the collection of documents and analysis of reports.
  • Take on additional projects based on the interests and capacity of the candidate.
  • Be a dynamic contributing member of the SRT as its scope changes.
Educational Background: 
Successfully pursuing or recently completed graduate degree. (Open to exceptional senior undergrads with work experience.)
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must be well-organized, detailed oriented, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and details.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Exceptionally strong writing, design, and editing communications skills.
  • Strong interest in non-profit related work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience with strategic planning, business planning and change management.
  • International experience.
Compensation/Benefits: 

At the end of the internship, you will become knowledgeable in strategic planning, business planning and change management. You will learn to work in a professional environment and have opportunity to work with strategy, business and change experts; and will have the opportunity for weekly mentorship time with senior strategy leaders. This internship will give you exposure to many aspects of the global organization and potential careers with Habitat for Humanity International.
