Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a successful, full-cycle recruiter to fill the role of Senior Specialist – Talent Acquisition for one year. This full-time recruiter must work effectively with a variety of hiring managers and other HR staff worldwide, in order to provide top notch talent for Habitat’s work. Primarily responsible for full-cycle recruitment of regular, employment positions based in the US and internationally across multiple disciplines, including specialized knowledge areas like market development and entrepreneurship.

Our ideal candidate is a committed recruiter who is sharp, responsive and maintains a high level of customer service. He/she has recruited positions internationally (whether expatriate or local recruitment) and is familiar with the nuances of working across time zones with both hiring managers and candidates. As an experienced recruiter, he/she also is adept at using LinkedIn Recruiter including solid Boolean search skills, effective InMails and familiarity with LinkedIn projects. This position is based in our headquarters office in downtown Atlanta.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Recruitment (80%):

  • Manage recruitment for a portfolio of unique jobs both in the US and abroad, related to various business divisions, including our Asia/Pacific regional office and Market Development positions around the world. This includes intake meetings, job description refinement, crafting effective job postings, sourcing and advertising, conducting phone screens, interview scheduling across multiple time zones and managing the offer process.
  • Follow established organizational protocols for approvals, recruitment and hiring.
  • Ensure proper due diligence is carried out on all finalists, including background checks and references.
  • Provide progress reports and critical updates to Talent Acquisition leadership.

Sourcing (20%):

  • Support various members of the Talent Acquisition team to provide sourcing support via LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent databases to source for niche skillsets on hard-to-fill positions, such as fundraising roles.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5 + years of full-cycle recruitment experience (not retail or high volume/high turnover).
  • Experience recruiting roles based outside the US/Canada, and/or working with hiring managers based abroad.
  • Experience scheduling meetings/calls across multiple time zones.
  • 1+ year of LinkedIn Recruiter experience sourcing candidates with searches and InMails; ability to leverage LinkedIn Recruiter projects and talent pipeline.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems to manage candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Preferred: 

  • Experience with Kenexa BrassRing ATS.
  • LinkedIn Recruiter Certification.
  • Experience recruiting within a corporate environment.
  • Previous Fundraising, Sales and/or IT recruitment experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English.
  • Experience completing employment-related due diligence.
