Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Resource Development Global Projects Specialist. The Resource Development Global Projects Specialist, serves as a key resource to the Vice President, Collaboration, Support and Operations and Vice President of Global Foundations, Organizations, and Institutions. This position will be responsible for providing project management operational and administrative support to facilitate the high performance of the RD team’s involvement in the Global FOI project team. This coordination is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of the team, as well as alignment with all other related to projects in a variety of global efforts for fundraising. 

The Specialist will provide logistical support, operational expenses and manage internal business processes. This position will also serve as a point of contact for key internal stakeholders with the HFHI network and provide support to them as needed in order to maintain project alignment. This position will be based at HFHI's Global Administrative Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Working with the VP CSO (25%) and VP Global FOI (75%), provide exemplary support to global fundraising efforts and internal coordination with our extensive Habitat network:
  • Scheduling, catering and all other logistical support for internal and external meetings including webinars, conferences, lunch and learns and special meetings. Attends meetings, creates meeting agendas, records and distributes meeting documents, develops summaries and action items and does follow up post meeting - 40%
  • Point of contact and liaison for Global FOI project team for internal and external communications including with HFHI departments and other non – governmental organizations and institutions. This requires relationship building and cross-functional engagement to promote open and ongoing information sharing and creative collaboration - 20%
  • Managing budget and expenditures, booking travel, completion and submission of travel and expense reports - 10%
  • Maintains Sharepoint library of key documents, oversees site permissions. Structures and maintains team site for collaboration and document sharing - 15%
  • Conducts research, produces presentations and major reports - 15%
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Exceptional verbal and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent technology skills – Microsoft applications

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with SharePoint
