Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Project Manager for a Global Impact 2025 initiative. Global Impact 2025 is a global change initiative aimed at aligning Habitat International and its international network with the ambition of our strategic plan. GI25 intends to transform Habitat into a more effective global organization, tripling its impact in low-income contexts, tripling affiliate scale in large middle income contexts and tripling the resources mobilized from the world's wealthiest economies outside of North America.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of International Operations, the Project Manager - Global Impact 2025 will be responsible for the coordination and consolidation of all change projects related to GI25. The position will help to establish a project management standard for the initiative, support the start-up and execution of change projects and monitor overall progress across the change initiative. The Project Manager will provide ad hoc support, training and advisory services to project teams throughout implementation to help equip project leads and team members to finalize recommendations. This position will be based in Atlanta, GA.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Maintain and continuously improve a standard project management methodology for initiative project teams including relevant processes, templates, and reporting
  • Consolidate project team plans and reports into initiative management reporting and relevant project lead reports; advise on areas of concern and recommendations for improved performance
  • Coordinate and help facilitate project team launches, particularly in relation to training on project methodology, key tools and templates that should be applied through the project team
  • Consult on individual projects including: data analysis, process analysis and improvement, and organizational design
  • Manage an initiative dashboard with key performance indicators to ensure that installation is moving in line with management expectations
  • Coordinate meetings with the Advisory Panel including management of the agenda, circulation of pre-read materials, and preparation of minutes from each meeting
  • Consolidate and curate project documentation, outputs and analysis within the initiative SharePoint site
Educational Background: 
Bachelors Business, Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Preferred: Masters of Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of professional related experience
  • Highly organized with experience coordinating the work of several groups within an organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in remote teams and with little supervision
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working through change
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines as and when they emerge
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in cross-cultural settings

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a country outside of their home country (working or education)
  • Recognized project management certification
  • Six Sigma training or certification
  • SharePoint, Smart Sheets, MS Teams, MS Stream experience

Beneficial but not Required:

  • Fluency in Spanish
