Design, develop, administer, implement, train, and support large and small applications on the O365 Collaboration suite including SharePoint, OneDrive for Business Flow, Office products, Groups, Teams, Delve, Sway, Stream, and Planner. The Office 365 infrastructure consists of, but is not limited to, Exchange Online, Email Security Applications and devices, Skype for Business Online, Skype PSTN dialing, Skype PBX, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Flow, PowerApps, PowerBI, SharePoint Online, Yammer, and Office Proclus technologies. Provides support to internal teams in packaging, testing, deployment and remediation of O365 products, updates and feature releases. Performs large scale organizational implementation and migrations to completion, including interaction with Architecture Review Board, Change Management, and Demand Management committees. Leads the team in reducing ticketing escalation support for Office 365 infrastructure and related technologies.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Leads the engineers and admins on the team in increasing automation, reducing incidents, escalations, and project completion times by using Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence, Restful and GraphAPI, and workflow management systems
  • Design, develop, administer, implement, train, and support large and small applications on the O365 Collaboration suite including SharePoint, OneDrive for Business Flow, Office products, Groups, Teams, Delve, Sway, Stream, and Planner.
  • Administer the Azure AD and Azure B2C environments, including monthly health checks and development scripts to improve reliability on the infrastructure
  • Document the requirements, architecture, and design of the applications developed 
  • Load the configuration sets onto Skype for Business and Teams Only appropriate hardware, including ship-to-site hardware replacement needs.
  • Ensure O365 solutions are fit for purpose, and propose upgrading or new architecture or development solutions if they aren’t.
  • Monitoring Microsoft Roadmap for upcoming changes in the environment and proactively implement change management to add or remove service.
  • Interacts with the ACS Support Center, the Network Operations Center, LAN/WAN engineers, and leads the Office 365 engineers and Collaboration Developers, to provide second and third-level support for the ACS Messaging and Collaboration network and all ACS-developed Collaboration applications.
  • Protects the overall security of the ACS Messaging and Collaboration network through the administration of Security and Compliance cloud portal, access control lists, server security measures, and cross-certification of external organizations.
  • Consults with ACS application developers on issues related to the impact of applications on the corporate Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure.
  • Provide deep technical subject matter expertise to the O365 user and developer community.
  • Assumes a leadership role in the resolution of complex technical issues and on-call problem resolution.
  • Provides Office 365 technical expertise to internal IT groups and provide feedback and recommendations to management relative to the optimization of the enterprise Office 365 environment.
  • OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  • Present thoughts and ideas to audiences of various sizes and technical knowledge levels.
  • Provides other services to specific Regions as defined in Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist in the development of training documentation, and provide training as needed.
  • Maintain and support the administration of Communication and Collaboration application’s environment, which comprises SharePoint on-prem and O365 services.
  • Developing customer PowerShell scripts for automation, redundant task, reporting, monitoring, etc.
  • Lead messaging projects, software upgrades, architecture changes and implementation of new components within the environment.
  • Troubleshoot Messaging Relay Server (Office 365 DirectSend) issues, working in collaboration with other relevant IT areas and vendor support towards a quick and effective resolution.
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly operational checklists and operational reports.
  • Runs weekly team meetings and sits in on 1:1’s as necessary to ensure the department is functioning at a high level
  • Able to adapt to a changing technical environment.
  • Process Support Update an existing KB article DB as and when required for Messaging
  • Ability to coach other members of team in their area of expertise.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users.
  • Resolve Tier-2 and Tier-3 tickets and Major Incidents related to collaboration systems.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5+ years of IT business/industry work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience developing solutions and workflows for the Office 365 collaboration infrastructure

  • Demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in Office 365 development technologies and application architecture and design (PowerApps, Flow, and so on)
  • Creative thinking on new proposed solutions for the organization
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, planning/ organizing and communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Candidates must also have functional and technical expertise, adaptability and flexibility, be customer-focused, and work well in teams.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proven experience with Visual Studio, .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTML 5, Visual Basic, JSON, and jQuery
  • Excellent at PowerShell scripting for administration, automation of processes, and issue resolution.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 API architecture, including GraphAPI and PowerBI
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013, 2015, and/or 2017
  • Experienced with security, compliance and e-discover solutions.
  • Experience developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps• Ability to create custom connectors for Microsoft Flow.
  • Working experience with a Source Control system, preferably TFS.
  • Must be able to provide after-hours support on an as-needed and/or rotating basis.
  • Effective analytical, planning, organizational, problem determination and resolution process skills.
  • Previous Experience developing Azure logic apps and PowerBI development
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows 7/10, and 2003-2019 Servers
  • Knowledge of networking and VOIP protocols required including Skype Cloud PBX solutions.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix a plus
  • Knowledge of peripheral systems and protocols, such as Email Gateways, ADFS/AD Connect, AZURE AD, Email Archiving solutions
  • Solid understanding of cloud concepts
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive for Business
  • Proven ability to work on large-scale global deployments in multiple locations
  • Microsoft MCSE or similar certification a plus
