Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is in search of an experienced .Net Developer to join our team. In this role you will be involved in design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment in support of enterprise packaged solutions. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential. This position will be based at HFHI's Administrative Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is eligible for HFHI’s full relocation package.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
  • Prepare test based applications for various .Net applications.
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action.
  • Plan and identify areas for modification and improvement.
  • Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
  • Create technical specifications and test plans.
  • Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Development or similar field
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5+ years of application development experience in a variety of software environments including VB.Net, C#, Visual Studio
  • Extensive experience with query design and development (MS SQL Server)
  • Experience using CSS, HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience with Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, XML, CLR Routines, Web Services.
  • Experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC)
  • Experience working in a team development environment using source control (Git, Subversion), software project management tools such as Jira.
  • Proven ability to carry a feature from start to finish: including prototypes, design specifications, constructive coding, unit testing, and bug fix.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively on multiple projects with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational, creative and analytical skills, including demonstrated success in analyzing and solving difficult problems.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Blackbaud CRM™ SDK preferred.
  • Experience with packaged software solutions (e.g., The Raiser’s Edge™, Salesforce™, Dynamics™ etc.) preferred.
