The primary objective of IAD is to assist management and the Board in the effective discharge of their responsibilities by assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and reviewing the quality of performance in achieving HFHI's objectives and goals. You will have the opportunity to assist IAD’s leadership in the execution of its global audit plan. Our ideal candidate is someone who can think analytically and strategically, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position reports to the Vice President of Internal Audit. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assists with the planning and execution of audit projects if HFH branded entities.
  • Assists with the preparation of finding and recommendations audit reports.
  • Assists with the preparation and keeping update of weekly status reports to IAD management.
  • Assists the Investigation Director in the preparation of the MSWP (Hotline) weekly reports. 
  • Assist the team with the execution of the annual internal audit plan approved by HFHI IBOD Audit Committee. 
  • Assists the IAD team in the identification of enterprise risks the organization may be exposed. 
  • Participates in the gathering and analysis of information for the annual risk assessment process. 
  • Assists in the preparation of the quarterly reports of outstanding audit recommendation
Educational Background: 
Successfully pursuing or completed an undergraduate or graduate degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and details
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
  • Must be well-organized, detailed oriented, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptionally strong writing, design, and editing communications skills 
  • Strong interest in Non-Profit related work

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Preferable pursuing or completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • Knowledge or experience with excel, word, power point and other Microsoft products
  • International experience
