Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is in search of an experienced and dedicated GIS Analyst who will provide geospatial data support, ESRI ArcGIS software administration, and configuration management for ArcGIS enterprise geospatial tools and applications as well as support specific projects in integrating GIS functionality.

The GIS Analyst will need to demonstrate solid understanding of GIS theory and applications; possesses clear understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, applications and functionality; identifies, understands and articulates solutions for customer issues by means of ArcGIS knowledge including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and other related ArcGIS technologies

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Monitoring of GIS environment – ESRI ArcGIS Online and GIS Enterprise Platform (ArcGIS Server/Portal)
  • Assists in the development of GIS projects using ArcGIS software to enhance existing and future GIS projects.
  • Creates geographic maps based on available datasets
  • Publishing map services
  • Design, analyze, develop and Support geo-spatial solutions and tools
  • Perform geographic information systems (GIS) analysis – using ArcGIS Community Analyst
  • Perform data migration from multiple sources.
  • Responsible for designing, creating, testing, and implementing map services
  • Develops geographic databases, including designs and models.
  • Assist with field data collection using ESRI ArcGIS Survey123 Technology, methodology and specifications.
  • Performs research into emerging GIS technologies.
  • Document details of map updates, additions and deletions.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Science, and Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5 + years’ experience 
  • solid proficiency in using the latest ESRI ArcGIS suite of products, including extensions; mapping and geodatabase management, including GIS application development and support; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
  • Familiarity with geoprocessing techniques and work-flows.
  • Experience with Data Management with Geodatabases
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people, including nontechnical staff
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience Python scripting
